There is now a HookData service to manage caching for hooks.

Hooks are needed in several different locations. In order to unify how the hooks are retrieved there is a new HookData service.

HookData is internal but has two methods:
getModuleHookData
getThemeHookData

The constructors for the following services have been updated to add HookData and remove the services that are no longer needed.

  • ModuleHandler
  • ThemeHandler
  • Registry

ModuleHandler
Replaced KeyValueFactoryInterface with HookData.
Dropped CacheBackendInterface.

ThemeHandler
Replaced KeyValueFactoryInterface with HookData.
Dropped CacheBackendInterface.

Registry
Replaced KeyValueFactoryInterface with HookData.
