Project Guardian helps Drupal site maintainers evaluate the long-term maintenance health of installed contributed projects.
It combines objective evidence from Drupal Update Status, Drupal.org, and GitLab—including release compatibility, security advisory coverage, development activity, maintainer resilience, and issue stewardship—to produce a transparent and reproducible health score.
An optional Project Guardian AI submodule can interpret completed reports and provide concise risk explanations and recommended actions through providers configured with the Drupal AI module. AI never calculates or modifies the objective score.
