With views 6.2 and taxonomy translation (of the i18n contrib module), taxonomy terms are not translated when used as fields in a view (they do when viewing a single node).
I will investigate this issue and hopefully post a patch in a few days, but I wanted to share the issue here in case someone finds a solution in the meantime :-)

pkej commentedI can confirm this, and it seems that using terms as arguments to a view have the same issue, eg. I can write 'gallery/canoeing' and get the right nodes in the current language regardless of language, but I can not write 'gallery/kanoturer' and get any results, regardless of user language. I think these two are related.

merlinofchaos commentedPlease note that translation of taxonomy terms isn't part of Drupal core, so I don't see how this is a Views bug.

anrikun commentedSame problem.
And terms when exposed in a filter are not translated too.

floretan commentedmerlinofchaos is right, this is an i18n taxonomy issue rather than a views issue. A solution is available here #346028: Translate taxonomy term names in Views.
