Proposed resolution

I appreciate that this is an unsolicited request to be a maintainer, and I've basically just shown up in this issue queue, but...
I maintain a lot of modules on Drupal.org and while I've not contributed to this module's code or issue queue as of yet, I'm sure I could do what's needed to get a Drupal 11 version of this module.

I've raised #3610833: Beta version of 8.x-3.0 that supports Drupal 11 to discuss the plan for getting a minimally working Drupal 11 version of this module out.

But I have no permission to manage the maintainers list.

@voleger thanks very much! Given the number of maintainers of this module, and the potential contention #3396329-15: Stable or beta 4.x D11-compatible release I'll leave it until tomorrow to move this to the drupalorg queue for further processing.

Actually, I've reviewed the issue queues and it doesn't look like the contention in #3396329-15: Stable or beta 4.x D11-compatible release is valid, I can't see issues where maintainers are being rejected etc.

So, given that @voleger has given his blessing to me being added as a co-maintainer, I'm going to move this to the correct Drupal.org queue.

voleger is a co-maintainer and does not have the Administer maintainers permission. While we take in consideration he is favorable, we need a maintainer who agrees or disagrees.

I am also a co-maintainer without "administer maintainers" privilege. That has been a constant long-term challenge with this module.

See https://www.drupal.org/project/votingapi/maintainers.json for the list of maintainers and who has permissions.

I am also in favor of steven jones becoming a maintainer.
