When a parent term has a lot of children (in the case of one of mine, there are almost 50 terms assigned to a parent), a NiceMenu created with that vocabulary will:

1. not look very nice since the user will have to scroll down a long list to potentially see the term they're looking for and/or
2. run off the bottom of the page (see attached image).

Would it be possible in the Taxonomy Menu Settings to have an option for "Maximum Rows Per Column" so that this problem could be avoided?

I would be willing to sponsor this feature.

Thanks.

If you are still willing to sponsor this, I can create a patch for the 6.2 branch. Please let me know.

No response after almost 2 months of "postponed (maintainer needs more info)"
So, I will mark as "won't fix"
But, maybe this has been continued 'behind closed door's' (sponsorship). If so, feel free to reopen...

One suggestion:
Maybe in your taxonomies with lots of children, you could subdivide them out to make them smaller and more manageable.
For instance, in your example, you could divide into region or continent.
