Drupal 10 reaches end of life on 9 December 2026.

Varbase 9.2.x targets Drupal ~11.4 and uses the 10.0.x branch of Varbase Layout Builder.

The 10.0.x branch should fully support Drupal ~11.4 while keeping Drupal ~10 support, so both Varbase 9.1.x and 9.2.x can use it.

Proposed resolution

  • Keep core_version_requirement as ~10.6.0 || ~11.4.0 on the 10.0.x branch.
  • Ensure the dependencies resolve and the module works on Drupal ~11.4.
  • Fix the Drupal 11 deprecations and make the pipeline green, while keeping Drupal ~10 support.

MR !90 merged into 10.0.x. Supports Drupal ~11.3 while keeping ~10.6. lb_ux bundled as a submodule (Drupal 11 fixes from #3464547), block content permissions handled by core, webship tests pass on both Drupal 10 and 11. Needs review.
