Problem/Motivation

This theme was originally built to work with Event Platform, but as the functional code moves towards being housed in Event Platform Helper, this theme should work seamless with the new combination.

Proposed resolution

Update the code where necessary to work with Event Platform Helper instead of Event Platform.
