Usually good forms has a "SUBMIT" button highlighted and nicely distinct from other buttons, such as "reset" or "preview". It's a good thing to implement this distinction in rootcandy.
Whether a standard or a coincidence, almost all forms in Drupal has a main submit button with id="edit-sumit". Using that we can do a simple trick:
.form-submit {
//something grayish or light-blue
}
#edit-submit {
//dark blue, as current .form-submit buttons
}
What do you think?

sign commentedright,
so you reckon to make submit button lighter?
Comment #2
josesanmartin commented@sign: no. The other buttons (.form-submit) should be lighter, the most relevant "submit" button (#edit-submit) should be dark blue, as regular buttons.
Update: I've just noticed that this is a feature already implemented in some forms, such as node form. Two comments about that:
1) good it's implemented in node forms. I think it should be extended for all forms, using #edit-submit.
2) I don't think dark-red, dark-blue are good in this case. They're clearly distinct, of course, but it's not easy to tell what's the most relevant. For instance, we can think that red button will delete node. Something like: "it's red! it's dangerous to click here!" Not the case, of course. I'd suggest a combination of dark blue contrasted with light blue.

sign commentedI would say the reason for such a color scheme is that users will think about it for the first time what to click, then its automated. You are clicking the colours, not even reading whats on the button (text) tho.
Comment #4
sign commentedI am quite happy with green and red buttons :)
