The \Drupal\examples\Utility\DescriptionTemplateTrait trait has been deprecated in the 5.0.x branch and it will be removed in the 6.0.x branch.

There is no replacement. Example modules implemented in other projects should implement hook_example_info() to be listed in the list of example modules.
