#3568633: Wrap Name field widget in a fieldset changed the markup for the name widget to a fieldset with no option to revert to the previous markup. While a reasonable change, it was a (moderately) disruptive change for existing forms, particularly for front-end forms (Contact module), adding an unexpected maintenance task for style sensitive sites.
This is a feature request to add a widget configuration option to choose the wrapper markup. Other notable modules, including Address have a similar option.
Upgrade to version 8.x-1.2 on site with an existing Contact form (or any form using the Name field widget).
Add an option to select a different container for name fields.
Introduce a new widget wrapper configuration option.
