Problem/Motivation

The Image Optimize Binaries module is currently in a beta state (8.x-1.2-beta1). While the module is functional, many production environments and organizations require modules to have a stable release to ensure long-term support and eligibility for Drupal Security Advisory coverage.

Proposed resolution

I would like to ask the maintainers what the current blockers or requirements are for the module to move from beta to a stable 8.x-1.x (e.g., 8.x-1.2) release.

Specifically:

  1. Are there any critical bugs that must be resolved first?
  2. Is there a specific set of features or modernization tasks (like Symfony Process integration) required before a stable tag?
  3. What is the status of the security coverage application for this project?

Understanding these requirements will help the community understand the current health of the module and the path toward a stable version.

I think we need to do #2992359: Use the symfony process component first.

This ticket is basically a duplicate of #2995350: Be covered by the Drupal security policy
