longwave has volunteered to be a maintainer of the Dependency Coordination topic during the 2025 Annual Maintainer Check-In process.

A topic maintainer is a subject matter expert for a topic that spans multiple subsystems. As such they have an impact on project direction and philosophy. The topic also corresponds to one of the core gates.

Drupal core is now using the main branch as the primary development branch. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted to the main branch.
