As a user I wwant to be albe to change the language of all pages on the project so I can read the content in different languages.
We need a design for the La_eu project to add a language picker. The project will support multiple languages. The users need to be able to switch between languages .
We need to create a standard langauge picker that supports different amounts of languages. Some websites wont have multiple languages, some will have two different languages and some three or four.
The picker will use shortened countries names.
The languages need to be shown as so: Eng | NL | Fr
The picker needs to be places somewhere top right.

I would highly recommend that you use the language names rather than the country names (shortened or otherwise) if it's a language picker for common content, rather than say a link to a sub-site for a country.
I generally just use the entire language name, in it's own language. As a Canadian I find it odd to have to pick between icons of a flag from France or the US/UK to denote EN | FR or English | français.

florisg commentedis that so? we dutch have NL/EN, our german friends have DE/EN our french spanish, greek and poland friends need local / en, so i can visit the local conference and still read 'EN, for i do know dutch, german, french and english only, so English sems to be the universal fallback.
the most reverse use case i can make up is the Luxenburg community, they don't have a local association yet but will need DE/FR/NL/EN
Do we need laguage switchers with flags? or can we make do with just the config split to make this work in any language?
