Problem/Motivation

I'm trying to set-up SMTP in Drupal 10 on A2Hosting. I've created the SMTP mail account on my shared hosting server, and I configured the module to use these settings. I've confirmed the mail server is working and can be reached outside of Drupal.

Only local images are allowed.

Sending tests from the modal appears to work and no error logs are showing... Just not sure what isn't working here.

Hi Ryan,

Is the SMTP server provided by A2Hosting? Is it Gmail?

Which port is configured? Can you share your SMTP settings minus user & password?

Hey bluegeek9, yes, the SMTP server is provided by A2Hosting.

1. SMTP server: mi3-cl9-ats2.a2hosting.com
2. SMTP port: 465
3. Use an encrypted protocol: SSL
4. User: Email address created in my cPanel
5. Password: password for the above email

I am not familiar with A2Hosting. I found this on the internet, https://www.bitrecover.com/imap-settings/a2-hosting/

For SMTP is says:
465 or 587, requires SSL
25 or 2525 , non-secure

I could try changing the encryption to TLS. You may also try Enable TLS automatically. You can also try port 587.
