Problem/Motivation
yoroy has contributed immensely to Drupal Core over the years, but his focus has shifted to other priorities. He has not been active in Drupal Core for more than two years and has not responded when asked about continuing in this role.
As per the Core subsystem maintainer policy, maintainers who do not confirm their continued involvement will be removed from MAINTAINERS.txt.
Proposed resolution:
Remove yoroy’s name and contact details from the MAINTAINERS.txt.
Remaining tasks:
No UI/API/Data model changes.
Show commandsStart within a Git clone of the project using the version control instructions.
Or, if you do not have SSH keys set up on git.drupalcode.org:
compare changes, plain diff MR !12955

smustgrave commented@divyansh.gupta thanks but typically these governance tasks are handled by someone on the core team. You may or may not receive credit for this issue, really depends if there are others. Just an FYI, probably would avoid project governance tickets

yoroy commentedHey there everybody. I've not been active for quite some years now, so time to make things official :)
It's been a lot of fun. Drupal is one of the largest, exhilirating, educational, frustrating, rewarding and impactful things I've ever done. Thanks to all the contributors for their collaboration, patience, insight and generous sharing of expertise.
At the risk of forgetting other important and lovely people, but thanks and love to: webchick, bohjan, gabor, catch, xjm, ckrina, lauriii, alexpott, yesct, eaton, merlinofchaos, sutharsan, and of course dries.
Thank you all. Now I'm crying.
Can we leave this open for a bit and reminisce? I'm sure I'll want add some people, things I forgot to mention.

gábor hojtsy@yoroy, you gave so much to Drupal and had a profound impact on many of us. I learned from you through our repeated exercises how simplifying is almost always possible to the extent where something is still super useful vs. being elaborate and versatile and thus confusing which is what Drupal usually would have done by default :D Even with simplifying text, your persistence fuels me that I can still find a simpler way to say something, which even when I almost give up turns out to be true at the end :D Thank YOU!
