Motivation

As I posted 7 years ago in #2912820: Add new entity-generic version we've developed an alternative module with the name and similar functionality, solving the same problem. Our module is still in use and we want to port it Drupal 11, to keep maintaining and using it.

Since this module seems to be in-active, I'd propose to publish a new entity-generic 3.x version based upon our version of the module, https://github.com/drunomics/views_exclude_previous

Alternatively, we'd publish it under a different name now. But when the development on views_exclude_previous 2.x is discontinued, I think it would make sense to do it under the name of views_exclude_previous 3.x.

ok, many weeks have passed, much more than the required 2 weeks, + we get kars-t's approval, so I'm moving on with this now.

I'm marking 2.x as unsupported and starting 3.x with the entity-generic 3.x version as proposed.
If you are interested in maintaining 2.x please reach out to me.
