Description:
Drupal core now provides additional tokens under the [site:logo] namespace to access the site logo for the active theme, the default theme, or any installed theme.
[site:logo]– Logo of the currently active theme.[site:logo:active-theme]– Explicitly returns the active theme's logo.[site:logo:default-theme]– Returns the logo configured for the site’s default theme.[site:logo:theme_name]– Returns the logo for a specific theme (by machine name).[site:logo:theme_name:url] / [site:logo:theme_name:url:absolute]– Returns the absolute URL of the logo for a specific theme.[site:logo:theme_name:url:relative]– Returns the relative URL of the logo for a specific theme.
Use cases:
- Use
[site:logo:default-theme]in emails or site-wide tokens for consistent branding, regardless of the active theme. - Use
[site:logo:theme_name]to reference a specific theme’s logo, useful in multi-theme scenarios. - Use
[site:logo]to dynamically use the active theme’s logo in theme-aware contexts.
Impacts:
Site builders, administrators, editors
