react-json-tree is used to show results from useSWR calls in code components: https://git.drupalcode.org/project/experience_builder/-/blob/0.x/ui/src/...

When the code component gets updated/recompiled, this data pane is completely refreshed and the user will lose their place if they had items popped open.

Proposed resolution

Store what items the user currently has popped open and restore them on a data refresh
