Hello,

I am raising a ticket to hopefully gain access to the confirmed user role.

I am a new employee of University of Edinburgh and have been asked to create and link my Drupal account to the organisation. I can only do that as a confirmed user.

i know I can become a confirmed user by contributing quality content to the Drupal platform/forum, however I am brand new to Drupal and it may be a while before this happens.

Pinky promise I'm not a bot!

Kind regards,
Kirsten

The typical path to confirm users usually involves reviewing content you created on this site. In this case, you just created this issue, so there is no content to review.

I am postponing this issue. After you posted some content on Drupal.org, you may want to add a comment to this issue to request a new review.

Linking your Drupal.org account to the organisation simply means adding the University of Edinburgh under the Work section of your Drupal.org profile. You can do this by editing your profile details.

Without content to review, this request can only be closed. Feel free to re-open it after posting content on drupal.org, committing code in a project, or creating a merge request for a project, for example.

As vishal.kadam said, a confirmed account is not required to be able to associate an account to an organization.

Now that this issue is closed, please review the contribution record.

As a contributor, attribute any organization that helped you, or if you volunteered your own time.
