Problem/Motivation

Track the steps needed to remove extension Migrate Drupal UI from core to contrib. See Remove a core module and move it to a contributed project of the deprecation policy.

The removal of extension Migrate Drupal UI was approved in #3371229: [Policy] Migrate Drupal and Migrate Drupal UI after Drupal 7 EOL.

Migrate Drupal UI is not being moved to contrib. The following step need to be updated accordingly.

Remaining tasks

  1. Create a child issue, 'Remove Migrate Drupal UI from core'. #3574714: Remove Migrate Drupal UI from core
  2. Triage core issues for Migrate Drupal UI in the core queue and move either to the contrib project or the relevant core component. Restore the status to what it was before it was postponed. Also, is the issue moved to contrib, then move any change record.
  3. Add warning to the core documentation for Migrate Drupal UI.

Add item to remove usage from stable9.info.yml.

There are items in the issue summary that are only relevant for an extension being moved to contrib. Those need to be removed.

Drupal core is now using the main branch as the primary development branch. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted to the main branch.

For the documentation I have added a warning to the Guide that this is deprecated and that the documentation will be removed when Drupal 11 is no longer supported. I think that is sufficient.

That is the last step here so, I am setting RTBC.
