This is to create the first introduction of a new sideMenu component into XB. The sideMenu will contain buttons allowing users to access the various functions with XB.
In this first iteration the buttons should be
1) Add (shows the library)
2) Layers (shows the layers)
3) Templates (shows "Todo" alert)
4) Extensions (if extensions module enabled, shows extensions in primary panel which, when clicked, open the extensions popup).
