Problem/Motivation

After working with the website splashawards.de since the beginning of the splash awards taking place in Germany (2017), we are aiming to relaunch the website in 2025. As discussed with numerous stakeholders, the relaunch will include a technical relaunch of the splashawards.de website as well as rebrush of the website in terms of UX/ UI Design, not including the branding of Splash Awards.

Changes made for the website will be contributed to the community after the relaunch in order to assure an adaptation for other splash awards brands (Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, France, Poland, etc.)

Deadline of the project is set for March 31st, 2025

    Quick update after the first month of work:

    1. the new UI-Design is being finalized atm
    2. We have already made the initial website setup for drupal and started theming
    3. The hosting infrastructure is being discussed, we will provide a staging environment until the final decisions are made

    Follow up to my last comment.

    1. the frontend implementation is being finished rn
    2. most of the content paragaphs are fully functional and are being testet
    3. news/blog and case-overview are finished
    4. news article and case pages are finished
    5. we are currently working on the case submission journey

    Update:
    Website has been relaunched successfully. The next step now is to discuss with @kraut how the data base can be prepared and made available for other drupal associations to relaunch their splash awards (with the same idea of la_eu).
