Since 2017, the Splash Awards are awarded in Germany in collaboration with Drupal Austria. With the Splash Awards, we want to especially distinguish Drupal service providers who craft extraordinary web experiences. In addition, the awareness of Drupal in Germany will be increased, making it a desirable software solution for companies as well as attracting new talents for the community will be won.
The Splash Awards Germany and Austria are the biggest Splash Awards brand in Europe with around 100 attendees per year. Since 2017, the event took place in the following cities:
2017 - Hamburg, Germany (Venue Klubhaus St. Pauli, Häkken)
2018 - Frankfurt am Main, Germany (Venue Brotfabrik)
2019 - München, Germany (Venue Burda Verlag)
2020 - Virtual Splash Awards
2021 - Cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic
2022 - Hamburg, Germany (Venue Factorial GmbH)
2023 - Mannheim, Germany (Venue Manufaktur)
2024 - Berlin, Germany (Venue Alte Münze)
2025 - Vienna, Austria (Palais Wertheim)
2026 - Frankfurt, Germany
