Request for 'confirmed' user role

Looking to get confirmed. Tried to contribute to a Drupal core issue queue (https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/3381026) after running into it on a client project. I posted a reply to the thread but it is not appearing even though the node revision for the issue shows my post. I assume this is related to my account not being confirmed?
