Drupal Pune Meetup - June 22, 2024

We started with a quick welcome note, which were followed by sessions:

• Anup Singh and Punam Beedkar presented a Case study titled the topic "Managing enterprise-scale international multisite Drupal platform at Syngenta"
• Indranil Ain and Saheel Sikilkar presented a session titled "Drupal as a key enabler for digitally acquiring leads"
• Aastha Shrivastava presented a session titled "Level Up Your Impact: Building Socially-Driven Projects with Drupal as a DPG". Key highlights from the session:
  • Shat are Digital Public Goods and Digital Public Infrastructures.
  • The process for a project to be recognized as a Digital Public Good.
  • How Drupal became a DPG. This included
    • Drupal's Commitment to Compliance
    • Drupal's sustainable development goals
    • Drupal's Protection from Harassment
    • Drupal's Features for Enhanced Accessibility and Inclusivity, etc.

After that We split up in two group so discuss:

• Docker-based development solutions lead by Abhisek
• Office culture contributing to employee growth, lead by Nikita and Ajit

This was followed by lunch, after which we discussed updates and plans for DrupalCamp Pune 2024. Some key highlights from the discussion:

• Sponsorship team:

  • Updates:
    • A company reached out on their own to show interest in sponsoring the event.
    • We have a Sponsorship Deck prepped now.
  • Tasks:
    • Dipak will start sending Sponsorship invites to various agencies.
    • Dipak will coordinate with Marketing team for various "Call for Sponsors" marketing posts.

• Marketing team:

  • Nikita will coordinate with Sponsorship team to market our call for sponsors
• Design team:
  • Vighnesh will reach out to Abhisek and Asmita
  • Vighnesh will update the design volunteer form to add volunteering benefits. Vighnesh will also add a page on the site for call for volunteers:

      • Certificate from DAP
      • Social mention
      • Volunteers page
• Website team:
  • Abhisek will set up the site on Pantheon
  • Dipak will add content to the site (Homepage, Call for Sponsors page)
• Program team:
  • Abhisek will send Trello link to piyuesh
  • Speaker mentorship - Piyuesh + Ajit will discuss how to implement this
• Venue + Catering:
  • 29th June booking deadline
