Problem/Motivation

It appears that TB Mega Menu is ignoring menu item permissions set by the "Menu Per Role" (menu_per_role) module. Menu items that are restricted and not displayed in the normal menu are displayed in the mega menu.

Steps to reproduce

  • Install both TB Mega Menu and Menu Per Role modules
  • Update a menu item's access permissions
  • Log in as a user who shouldn't see that menu item
  • That menu item *is* displayed in the mega menu

This is not issue of TB Megamenu, the functionality also not working for default menu items so created a ticket in "Menu Per Role" module as - https://www.drupal.org/project/menu_per_role/issues/3563433

I’ve attempted to reproduce the behavior you described using the current version of TB Mega Menu, but I haven’t been able to reproduce it in my test environments.

This appears to be an issue in menu_per_role (or its interaction with your site’s permission/menu setup), rather than a defect in TB Mega Menu itself — especially since the behavior you observed seems to have gone away after changes/updates on the menu_per_role side.

Since I’m unable to reproduce this at this time, I’m going to close this issue as Cannot reproduce. If you’re still seeing the problem, please feel free to re-open the issue with updated details (module versions and clear steps to reproduce), and I’ll be happy to take another look.
