Hello,

I am having a very frustrating issue with the Webform module. When I create a webform the forms appear above the description field and above any other custom fields I create. it is persistent on the create content > webform configuration where the new webform I am creating clearly displays the fields below everything else.

here is an example of a form I created that displays the problem I am having.

I have re-ordered and re-saved the fields in the order I want them using administer > content types > webform > manage fields (several times).

I tried uninstalling and re-installing the webform module as well.

This seems like it should be really easy to fix, and i have used webform on a few different sites without this problem.

here is an example of the same implementation of the webform where it is not having this problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

~ Thanks, ABC

So i haven't been able to solve that exact problem, but I have used the markup field to get around it.

i'll post the new webform when I finish

Still having problems.

Using the markup fields works to a point, but it keeps sticking in other css from the webform module that screws up my css.

still looking for help if anyone has any advice.

ok, fixed it. But I had to use an absolute position to create the second column. what a pain in the arse.

I am sure my limited knowledge has hurt me here...but hopefully my fixes will help some other newbie.

Definitely still interested to hear from an expert. Thoughts?

In the 2.4 version of Webform, the ability to reorder CCK fields as well as the Webform Description and Form was added, so you can now sort your form however you like.
