It would be nice to have a place in the configuration file to ignore certain words on a site. With this you could ignore the more generic words from being indexed on a site.

2 1/2 year old issue. I have no plans to look into this much because AFAIK FULLTEXT does some of this type of search improvement on its own. Even if not I don't know that it's worth the extra code that would be required. I prefer to aim at improving results through the query and customization options.
