"receve notification emails" checkbox available from "settings" for users who do not have permissions to approve comments

Hi,
I wanted to point out that even if the only permission i give to my users is to "delete comments in their own blogs", they still have a usercomments settings form avail in their user-edit interface. They have one option available -- "Receive notification emails (Check here if you want to receive notification emails about new comments awaiting your approval.)"

This does not make sense since they are not suppose to be able to control approval emails when they do not have the "approving" functionality avail to them...
