t-dub CreditAttribution: t-dub commentedI think this would be a handy optional feature. I'd definitely recommend keeping this sort of thing to role-related features in core, however (and honestly, input formats is the only one I'm coming up with right now that is in core). There are hundreds of role-based functionalities in contrib modules that would it would "be nice" if adminrole managed as well, but that seems like it would complicate this nice, simple, useful module a little too much.

Bevan CreditAttribution: Bevan commentedThis is already implied through the 'administer filters' permission

mariuss CreditAttribution: mariuss commentedI am pretty sure 'administer filters' was selected, and still input formats where not automatically available to the admin role.
Administering and using filters are two different things.
Have a look at the "Input Format Permissions" module:

Bevan CreditAttribution: Bevan commentedI can't reproduce the issue. Input filters are available for users with the adminrole role.

wuihung CreditAttribution: wuihung commentedi'm having the same issue.
i set "filtered html" as default input format, "full html" for admin role.
But after that, i'm only able to use filtered html format although i log in as admin.
