Problem/Motivation

DrupalCI is being deprecated, so it would be good to move automated testing to GitLab CI.

However, on GitLab CI there are quite a lot of test failures: https://git.drupalcode.org/project/feeds/-/jobs/495733
I don't know yet how to solve these, the tests are passing on DrupalCI and locally.

Great! Tests pass now on GitLab CI. I merged the code.

Fixes for the "validate" section can be handled in #2939688: Fix the errors/warnings reported by PHP_CodeSniffer (or at least the phpcs part of it).
