I have not changed my settings on my site
Pathauto is somehow selectively not aliasing some content
you can see here at http://www.shareyourexpertise.com
if you look at latest blog posts on the right side,
the most recent is aliased, then there are some are not , then some are
they are all blog content and the edit node page shows that it is aliased but it is not showing on the site.

netentropy commentedjust figured it out, it dawned on me after posting
it does not work well with the Local module
Comment #2
gregglesWhat is the local module? http://drupal.org/project/local provides nothing.
netentropy commentedit allow syou to ad language files
you can use it to change wording on drupal core
it is in the drupal core install
but if you have it enabled with a custom language the path URLs quit working
Comment #4
avpadernoThe correct name is locale.module, and like he said it's a core module.
greggles@Kiam@avpnet.org - thanks for the clarification. Do you have this same problem?
avpadernoI had it. I then passed to the 2.x version, and I have not noticed the same problem. I am not sure if that is because the code which changed from one release to the next, or if it was a problem caused from some other circumstances.
greggles6.x-2.x does have better support for Locale/i18n.
I'll move this to i18n stuff to see if Freso has any ideas on it.
giorgio79 commentedI am experiencing the same issue, namely I enabled the Spanish language, and when I select that language for a content it does not create the alias.
When I Select language neutral it does work fine.
I also tried switching to the latest 6.2 x dev but no luck.
