I installed it, configured it, added the block on one of my sidebars, and ran a manual cron just to be on the safe side.

Related items are not appearing at all!

Then i went to individual nodes and edited them added related nodes manually. This way, the related items do appear!
But... Will i have to do this manually for all my nodes?

I was expecting that the module would find and create all the "relations" for me.. :(

No, this module doesn't work automatically. You have to create links manually.
Which kind of automatic method do you think?

I think that http://drupal.org/project/related_content works automatically
