We now have an experimental gitlab template for contrib 7.x, see #3343810: Support for testing Contrib Drupal 7 with the template.

However, some tests that pass on Drupal.org and locally, fail in the Gitlab pipeline. This is reported on the gitlab_templates issue #3392363: D7 contrib pipeline tests fail when requiring a 3rd-party contrib module

Going to commit the parallel matrix split, as this will make it easier to see test failures and/or remove a test class.

Decided to fix this via custom composer: after_script: commands. These will be removed when #3392363: D7 contrib pipeline tests fail when requiring a 3rd-party contrib module is fixed.
