I'm new to content_profile and I can't seem to get it to work. I have two content types which I'd like to use as user profiles, each corresponding to a user role. I've set both content types to be used with profiles, the permissions all seem fine, the users I'm trying to edit are of the types I'm trying to match to the content types, and I'm logged in as admin with all permissions. But I'm not seeing any additional fields or tabs in the user edit pages with the content types. What else needs to be done to activate them? Thanks!

I have a similar problem: though you can configure the tabs to show up on YOUR OWN user page (if you're logged in) these tabs do not show up when you view other users.

Please upgrade to beta3 and try again - also run update.php.

I'm still having the same problem. I'm using beta3 and have ran update.php. Tabs only show up on logged in users' profile page, and for an administrative user.

...Is this something I can theme-in? (If so, any suggestions as to how? (And in what file?))

@thebuckst0p, @arilikeairy did you try with a CP beta3 clean install (fresh drupal install) ? I'm thinking that maybe the previous version of CP screwed something on the database side.

I'd really prefer not to completely reinstall Drupal because I've got a lot of modules running and configured. (I'm building a social networking site...)

So, rather than re-installing, I'm going to try to wipe the database. I searched for "content profile", "content_profile", "content_profile_page", and "cp", and deleted anything that looked related to Content Profile. I also searched for the names of the content types I had created, but nothing I saw seemed to be related to CP.

Tabs still do not show up.
