Plugins only work for nodes or comments but not both at once

Here's a tricky one: Plugins work for me with the new version of yui editor (2.32)! Whoo! Except, they only work for EITHER comment text fields or content (node) text fields, not both at the same time. I've tried tons of different permutations using the yui editor settings for path/content type/etc. and have finally figured out that this is what's going on.

Anyone experiencing anything similar, or know how to fix? I'd like to get it working (with image upload) for both the comments and the nodes. TIA!
