The layout lets you control how the different options should be displayed in the iframe (i.e. tabs, accordion, etc.) and the theme lets you pick from a handful of theme options. There are even more granular settings we can pass in for the appearance, but we should at least land the layout and theme options.

There was no need for these options to be hidden behind a checkbox. I've pushed a follow-up commit to remove that and add a link to the Payment Element preview page where you can easily see the different options.
