Hi, i am a newbie to this but i have one little problem.
I tried to install the HEAD version of this module (yeah smart thing to do..) and it worked fine. THEN i tried to upload a second version of the HEAD patched with something i saw here. When i uploaded it to the server (deleted and added the new folder) it stopped appearing on the module's list on the site.
I waited for a dev version to appear and reuploaded this today but still no sign of the module on the list.
I am not so sure if this is a drupal problem or the "User Badge" module but if anyone knows what i am doing wrong help would be extremly apreciated.

And lastly sorry for all the english misspells, etc

Can you try with the most recent dev? I've made some changes to the .info files.

Still nothing showing on the module's list. (I forgot to mention that i was able to see User Product Badges and Userpoints Badges which say user_badges is missing.)

Dear Drupalers,

As you may have noticed, Heine handed me the reins of this module so I'll do my best. However, for now I just intend to support and fix bugs and don't plan any extra features development (besides description URL).

I had a different version (customised for personal use) from the current ones in dev. I tried to merge those to versions, did some code improvements and added/modified some features. So I will now release the first "stable" versions (D5 & D6). Here is a list of what has been added/modified:

I hope it will be useful for all of you. Thank you for your feedback! Don't forget there are some todo's like

  • query optimisation (I am thinking on it)
  • support for private file upload
  • etc.

Hey. I really appreciate all the trouble and time spent on this project (or in portuguese "muito obrigado"). This problem is still present even after uploading the latest version. All the other dependent module's say its missing and it is not even displayed in the module's list.
Now, i bet this is a simple problem that might not even be related to user_badges so if anyone can help me it would be extremely helpful.

Argh. Still no changes on the module's list. Newer modules work fine. And I still can't take user product badges from the list which is strange.
I am really starting to think that this is a .inc or something problem with some drupal core file instead of a user badge module problem.
Problem is I still can't seem to find anyone with similar situations...

Oh my god!... Fixed the problem. user_badges.module was uploaded onto the modules main folder by mistake. I didn't notice it there cause there were lots of folders around. I am so so really sorry.
