If nothing unforeseen happens, there will be Drupal 7.100 in 2024 at the latest :)

@bad.shape.guy I'm guessing your kidding, but regardless it will be 7.100 Each number in X.Y.Z or X.Y in this case is independently incremented. Same with when it was 7.9

Mounted shares are very often used in the file system, this patch is not enough in the kernel

The mentioned issue is still Needs Work for Drupal 10, so it is unlikely that it will be committed to D7 before it is fixed in D10 (as the patches seems to use the same approach). If this will be fixed in D10, then we can consider backporting it to D7.
