bad.shape.guy commentedAnd what will happen after the release of version 7.99 (2023-12-06)? It's just that the version counter is over, then it's only 8.00 =)
poker10 commentedIf nothing unforeseen happens, there will be Drupal 7.100 in 2024 at the latest :)
joelpittetAdding a couple issues here to the Simple fixes
Comment #20
joelpittet@bad.shape.guy I'm guessing your kidding, but regardless it will be
7.100Each number inX.Y.ZorX.Yin this case is independently incremented. Same with when it was7.9Edit: saw the response too later before posting. What @poker10 mentioned in #18

bad.shape.guy commentedGood afternoon, are you planning to add this fix to the system core?

Mounted shares are very often used in the file system, this patch is not enough in the kernel
Comment #22
poker10 commentedThe mentioned issue is still Needs Work for Drupal 10, so it is unlikely that it will be committed to D7 before it is fixed in D10 (as the patches seems to use the same approach). If this will be fixed in D10, then we can consider backporting it to D7.

joelpittetA fairly obscure but safe quick fix for consideration:

Thanks everyone who contributed!
I have created a new meta issue for the next release scheduled for 2024-06-05: #3406741: [meta] Priorities for 2024-06-05 release of Drupal 7 and carried over all open issues from this meta issue.

bad.shape.guy commentedThank you all so much for supporting Drupal 7!
