I have upgraded to 1.x then to 2.x hoping this might fix the issues that I have with the sitemap. It now looks like it is creating the sitemap but timing out since there are about 450,000 nodes. Is there a spot that I could change time limit for just the sitemap module?

Error I am getting:
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /var/www/includes/database.mysql.inc on line 155

This is a well known issue on which we are working. It was already present in 5.x-1.6, and it occurs when the sitemap contains a lot of links.
