Problem/Motivation

In this issue queue there are issues posted for either contributed modules/themes (for example https://www.drupal.org/docs/contributed-modules/smart-date/smart-date-and-views) or Drupal core policies documentation (for example https://www.drupal.org/about/core/policies/core-release-cycles/schedule).

Should not the project page be explicit that issues for those documentation pages should be reported in a different issue queue?
In particular, issues on documentation for contributed projects should be reported on the project queue, since maintainers are not notified for issues posted in this queue. They can better understand if the proposed changes are correct.

The project page already contains the following sentence, but probably the linked page is not watched and all Drupal documentation is taken to literally mean all the documentation, including the documentation guides for contributed projects and for Drupal core policies.

Steps to reproduce

Proposed resolution

Add the following sentence

For contributed projects create an issue in the issue queue for that project.

Change

This is the main project for all Drupal documentation.

to

"This is the main project for Drupal documentation, except contributed projects."

or similar.

I am changing this to a bug because this is misleading information.

That works for me. I think it is an improvement, and of course, it can easily be changed.
