Motivation
I wasn't aware of this module until today and even though it appears to have quite a significant number of adopters, it's not quite so many as Menu Per Role and I am interested to hear of others' views comparing the two.

jagraj_singh_gill commentedAs per my understanding, versioning of Drupal core plays a key role here. Menu Per Role doesn't have a stable release for Drupal core versions below 9.4. Additionally, it lacks the ability to inherit the Parent's visibility settings on Child menu items.
So, these seems to be the good reasons to go for Menu Item Role Access

sirclickalotMy question is all the more relevant today I think becase both modules have a stable Drupal 11 release.
Could I please ask the module maintainers to comment here as I am very interested as to why both are being maintained.
I am considering moving to this one if for example, perhaps it operates more efficiently?
Thank you

liampower commented@SirClickalot I am unable to answer your question as I have never use the Menu Per Role module.

Seems to be functionality that has previously been called out that differs.
