I was looking for eventual unpublished spam that should be deleted. Searching for nodes with a title starting with Movie, I got these two project releases.
The edit link is shown for a project but not another one.
Both those releases are for existing projects which are still published: https://www.drupal.org/project/movie_catalog and https://www.drupal.org/project/moviereview. I cannot find any difference between those releases that would explain why one can be edited and the other no, except that the first has been marked as security release.

drummDrupal.org denies any editing for a node if you do not have access to the text format used. 2,256 releases created before 2006 have a
NULLinput format. I can bulk update those to an existing input format.Comment #3
avpaderno@drumm I opened the issue because I thought it was a bug in code it was worth checking. If bulk-updating those project releases don't take too much of your time, that's fine for me.
(I fixed the report, since releases should be editable, but not published, from site moderators.)
