Right now, the order edit form shows different information with different labels in the top right sidebar region (showing order metadata) than the admin order view page. For example, it says "Last saved" instead of "Changed" to show the last save timestamp, when there doesn't seem to be any reason for these interfaces to use different labels. Additionally, the order edit form shows the order's store and the checkbox for whether or not a draft order is a cart, but neither of these elements are shown on the order admin view page.
Let's align at least those listed items and identify any other gaps:
- Change the "Last saved" label on the edit form to "Changed".
- Link to the store beneath the timestamps on the order admin view page.
- Add text above the state transition buttons that reads, "Functions as a shopping cart." when the cart boolean is true. (I'm assuming that boolean gets set to false after the order is placed and doesn't just disappear from the edit form. If it remains set to true, then we need to imitate the logic to hide this text after an order is placed.)
I'm open to better suggestions for the text on #3. Best I could come up with.

jsacksick commentedI'm not sure what's the benefit of #3? Also, this means checking the cart flag, from the order module, I don't think there is an alternative, but I don't really like that.
Other than that, the rest is addressed via the attached patch. I wasn't sure if I should mimic the logic for printing the store label from the order form (the store label is only printed when there's more than one store).

jsacksick commentedNote that the store will be added only on new installs as we don't really revert the config.

rszrama commented@jsacksick, you know what, since we differentiate between "Draft 1" vs. "Cart 1" now with labels, I suppose it isn't necessary to tackle #3 in this list. I think mimicking the logic to reduce clutter on screen is good.
