Request for 'confirmed' role

Problem/Motivation

I am a Drupal user who uses a lot of modules. Last week I came across an module which is in alpha right now. It has some bugs but there wasn't an issue for it. I have fixed the bugs and have created 2 issues. For one of them, I can change the status automatically. For the other one, I can't. I always get the message that I need to wait (time) seconds to save.

I want to become a confirmed user, because I want to participate in the Drupal community. I am a big fan of Drupal and I want to help to improve contributed modules and to write my own modules. I use Drupal a lot for the company I work for so I will get some issues with modules. If I come across some bugs, I want to fix them and send them to the Drupal community.
