Per #3080606-084: [PP-1] Reorder Layout Builder sections:

I think there should be a click-and-drag option [for sections], just as there is for components.

Re-ordering the sections through drag-and-drop would be amazing. Especially in combination with the Layout Builder Widget module which moves the layout builder form to the entity edit page. Currently that module does not provide the action buttons, so if you were able to just drag and move, then it'd work out of the box.

Drupal core is moving towards using a “main” branch. As an interim step, a new 11.x branch has been opened, as Drupal.org infrastructure cannot currently fully support a branch named main. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted for the 11.x branch, which currently accepts only minor-version allowed changes. Drupal core is now using the main branch as the primary development branch. New developments and disruptive changes should now be targeted to the main branch.
