Problem/Motivation

We have for a really long time relied on the jQuery Colorpicker for our color selection of the banner and text colors.

jQuery Colorpicker now has the following problems:

  • The UI doesn't show, the color square is a single color and not a gradient and the fields are hard to use due to a missing background image
  • But more importantly, it relies on https://www.drupal.org/project/vendor_stream_wrapper which is unsupported due to a security issue

We should find a different library, possibly https://www.drupal.org/project/coloris
