Scatter charts only display one item when using entity grouping settings

Problem/Motivation

I have fields of data that I'd like to group into series based on values in an entity reference field (taxo) that I have. It'd be much nicer to use the entity grouping UI vs making a bunch of chart attachments, but only one point per series gets rendered on the scatter chart through the grouping UI.

Steps to reproduce

Have a scatter chart with more than one point that would show up per entity grouped series configured, view result. Ponder the ineffability of life.

Chart attachments are a workaround as shown @ https://www.drupal.org/project/charts/issues/3276566#comment-14493913 but clunkier to set up and harder to maintain.

Proposed resolution

Have all valid points show up. :)
