Problem/Motivation

The project field functionality is going away when we migrate to gitlab. As part of that I need to remove this the filed from user profiles, which leaves field_extra_fields() empty, so I'm removing that entirely.

Creating this issue so I can commit the change to an issue fork for drumm's review.
