Not confirmed accounts don't have restrictions on committing code, creating branches, adding tags, or creating project releases. There are restrictions on the number of posts, but that means (for example) that users without a confirmed account won't be able to post 10 comments in few seconds.
Since the Koumbit Platforms (kplatforms) module for which you committed code is covered by the security advisory policy, there could be some restrictions on what you can do on that project, but those restrictions depend on not having the vetted role, not the confirmed role.
